Mike Haines has been diving in Milford Sound since the mid 1980's and will take you to some of the best sights that the Fiord has to offer. Our mission is to show visitors the amazing world of Fiordland above and below the water in a way that is not only safe, but also informative and fun.

Fiordland National Park is a world heritage area. Its unique marine environment results from a combination of dramatic mountains and intense rainfall. Massive volumes of water flow into the fiords, causing a freshwater layer to overlay the seawater, thereby creating an environment where deepwater species can live at unusually shallow depths.

This means that scuba divers like you can see rare black and red corals, spiny sea-dragons and other deepwater life at only 10-15m. For those non-divers there is the chance to go ashore and get a close up look at the beautiful scenery and waterfalls.

The Kiri-Wapai is an 11.5m purpose built Stabi-Craft boat and takes up to 10 people.
